  • terry schiltz - president and ceo agsense
    Terry Schiltz

    President & CEO

    Raised on a farm near Wessington, SD, Terry’s entrepreneurial spirit developed at a young age - his father was a farmer, inventor and businessman. Shortly after graduating from South Dakota State University, he co-founded Schiltz Manufacturing, which manufactures unique grain bin unloading systems utilizing a patented design that he and his father developed. After selling the business, he moved to Denver and formed a company that marketed and sold telecommunications devices and services. His understanding and passion for both the Ag and Telecommunications industries led him back to South Dakota in 2003, where he became a partner in AgSense.

    Steve Sveum

    Vice President of Sales

    Steve has been involved in agriculture most of his life. He was raised near Omaha in eastern Nebraska, and spent most of his summers working for farmers in that area, as well as in northeast South Dakota near his family’s homestead farm. Steve developed a passion for agriculture during those years and went on to receive an agricultural business degree from South Dakota State University. His 25-year career in the Ag industry has been spent in sales and leadership roles, primarily in the application and precision Ag segments. Steve particularly enjoys projects developing new businesses and markets. He now makes his home in Centerville, MN, with his wife and two children.

    Michael Meyer

    Director of Engineering

    Michael was born and raised in Madison, SD. He spent many summers working on the family farm and exploring the ins and outs of electronics and computers. Michael started a computer- and electronics-repair business in 1995, while in high school. He has owned several businesses since then, including automotive electronics and service. In addition to his scheduling and supervisory responsibilities for AgSense engineering projects, Michael also designs the electronics and printed circuit boards of each product, determines all part specifications, and is head of quality control for the company. Coming to AgSense with a background in automotive technology, Mike continues to have a passion for classic and rare automobiles. He has been restoring them since his early teens and continues that hobby in a shop adjacent to his home in rural Huron, SD.

  • brent tebay - director of operations agsense
    Brent Tebay

    Director of Operations

    Raised in Alpena, SD, a small town 20 miles southwest of Huron, Brent helped his family raise pigs from a young age. During the summer months throughout high school, he helped his uncle with field work on the farm. After high school, he worked at the local elevator for three years before transitioning into the printing industry. Brent was a production manager in the printing industry for over 15 years before coming to AgSense. At AgSense, Brent is responsible for purchasing, production and shipping. Additionally, he oversees the tech support and customer service teams. He’s married and has four children.
